Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of My Portfoly, operated by My Portfoly ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

My Portfoly is a personal and family finance tracker that helps you record, organise, and analyse your financial data including income, expenses, investments, loans, insurance, and goals. The Service provides informational tools and AI-powered insights.

The Service does not provide financial advice. Nothing on My Portfoly constitutes investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making financial decisions.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• You must be a resident of India or use the Service for tracking Indian financial assets
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• One person may not maintain more than one free account

3. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Update your information to keep it current
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at security@myportfoly.com
• Not share your account with others or allow multiple users to access a single account

4. Subscription & Billing

My Portfoly offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Razorpay.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Lifetime plans are a one-time purchase with no recurring charges
• We offer a 7-day refund on annual subscriptions if requested within that period
• No refunds are issued for partial months or lifetime plans

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Indian law
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent financial data
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and content, is owned by My Portfoly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the financial data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Portfoly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or financial losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after which it will be deleted, unless legal retention obligations apply.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through the grievance mechanism below.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 15 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
